      Sichuan Institute of Fine Chemical Industry Research and Design, established in 1958, is an affiliate of Sichuan Provincial Economic and Information Department after its transformation into a science and technology enterprise in 2001. Its comprehensive economic strength makes it a leading enterprise among all the 50 affiliates that are directly controlled by Sichuan Provincial Economic and Information Department. Now the Institute has passed ISO9001: 2015 Quality Management System Certification. It has than 300 employees, including over 120 scientific and technical staff. After the establishment, it has completed more than 1,200 scientific research projects, including 265 key projects at provincial level or above; moreover, it has promoted the application of outcomes of over 170 projects, obtained 61 science and technology achievement awards at ministerial and provincial level, and completed the development of 16 new products at national level. The Chemical Products Quality Control Station of Sichuan Province, the Fine Chemical Engineering Technology Research Center of Sichuan Province, and the Environment-Friendly Flame Retardants Development and Services Platform of Sichuan Province are set up in the Institute. 


      We focus on the development, manufacture and operation of new technologies, new materials, and new environment-friendly products. As the biggest production base of environment-friendly nitrogen-based flame retardants in China, the most professional development and production base of desulfurization and decarburization solvents in China, and a development and production base of morpholine derivatives, the Institute concentrates mainly on environment-friendly flame retardants, environment-friendly desulfurization and decarburization solvents, pharmaceutical intermediates, special solvents and additives, etc.


      It has developed and produced more than 50 products which are sold across the country and exported to such countries and regions as Europe, the United States, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. Among these products, environment-friendly flame retardants and environment-friendly highly efficient JH desulfurization and decarburization solvents, with the most advanced technology in the world, have high production and sales volume that rank the first in China. The Institute led the preparation of 2 industrial standards for flame retardants, i.e. Flame Retardant Chemical - Melamine Cyanurate and Flame Retardant Chemical - Melamine Phosphate, and participated in the preparation of other two industrial standards, i.e. Flame Retardant Chemical - Melamine Polyphosphate and Performance Evaluation Method of Purification for Alcoholamine Desulfurization Decarbonizing Agent. In pursuit of technological innovation, the Institute will always transform innovations into practical products to satisfy the demand for fine chemicals at present and in the future.


      With technology strength and advanced examination measures, the Institute is capable of undertaking the design, manufacture and contract work for various chemical engineering devices. In addition, we also provide our customers with services such as transfer of projects, inspection of chemical products, commissioned development, personnel training, technology consulting, technical support, etc. With the aim of providing enthusiastic service for the chemical industry and other industries, the Institute will collaborate with practitioners from all walks of life, so as to offer superior fine chemicals and technical services to all industries.
